Greetings Dragon Families,

We are excited to welcome you back for the 2026–2027 school year!   Over the summer Village Park was once again rated an "A" by the Florida Department of Education!  Congratulations to our scholars, magic makers, and staff on this amazing accomplishment!  This year, Village Park’s theme is “Leading With Heart, Learning With Purpose".  This is more than a theme, it is a shared commitment to one another as we continue building a school community where every scholar feels supported, challenged, and inspired.  Village Park is truly a magical place for children to learn and grow, and this year is especially meaningful as our very first group of Kindergartners will complete their elementary journey as they advance through 5th grade.

To our families who are new to Village Park, welcome!  At Village Park, we are dedicated to excellence, and every classroom provides high‑quality learning experiences each day.  Our school also features two unique programs that are woven into our culture: the House System and The Amazing Shake.  These programs strengthen leadership, communication, problem‑solving, and purposeful learning.  During Meet the Teacher, I encourage you to ask your child’s teacher for more information about these enriching opportunities.

Communication is important to me, and I encourage you to reach out at any time throughout the year with questions or concerns.  Each Friday, I will send a call‑out message with important updates and upcoming events at VPE.  Our school Facebook page (Village Park Elementary OCPS) and ParentSquare are excellent resources for up‑to‑date information.

I also invite you to join our PTA, a wonderful group of parents who partner with our school to enhance the learning experience for all dragons.  As a community, we are stronger together.  Remember, at VPE we are 4 Houses, 1 Family!  Thank you for choosing Village Park Elementary!

Mr. Morosetti
