Principal’s Message
A man with a beard smiles, wearing a suit and tie.

Greetings Dragon Families,

It is truly an honor to have the opportunity to serve as your proud principal at Village Park Elementary for a 3rd year! My career with Orange County Public Schools started at Meadow Woods Elementary where I taught Music for 5 years. After that, I served as the Curriculum Resource teacher for 4 years where I worked closely with teachers on Math and Science instruction, testing, and positive behavior strategies/discipline. Most recently, I have served as the Assistant Principal at Conway Middle School. I earned my Bachelors of Music Education at the University of Central Florida in 2011 (Go Knights!) and my Masters in Educational Leadership at Stetson University in 2017.

Through my experiences over the years, I continue to believe all students have the ability to learn when we as a school community provide students with an equitable learning experience. Village Park is an amazing school where magic happens in every classroom and teachers provide high caliber learning experiences.  We have amazing teachers (Magic Makers) that create engaging lessons for our scholars each and every day.  Village Park has been open for 4 years and has been A-rated for each of those years!

Another thing that sets Village Park apart is our House System. The House System promotes character, academic success, school spirit, a family atmosphere, and a culture of excellence in our school. It also uplifts and inspires all students.

Megestanis- House of Leaders

Innovatio- House of Innovation

Animus- House of Bravery

Sapientia- House of Wisdom

We are four houses, but one family.

As your principal I plan to continue to build community with all of our school stakeholders. I will collaborate, cultivate, and celebrate the traditions that bring our school community together.  I encourage you to be engaged and involved in your child's learning through our PTA and their many volunteer opportunities.  Thank you for choosing OCPS and Village Park Elementary for your child’s learning experience!

Mr. Morosetti
